In 2019, Mercury was asked to support the brand’s debut in the UK and its Chelsea studio launch with the main objective of reaching US expats and new potential clients in the UK via media relations, introductions and lead generation.

Impact

• Secured coverage, alongside targeted advertising, with interior design titles such as House & Garden, Country & Town House, Elle Decoration, superyachts.com, The American and American in Britain, among others
• Secured profiling pieces for founders Lauren Lozano-Ziol and Michelle Jolas, including Country Town House’s House Guest podcast with Carole Annett
• Delivered more than 30 introductions to family offices, property management firms, private members’ clubs, property developers, private security companies and relocation agencies to drive awareness of SKIN amongst affluent and HNW circles

Approach

Prior to SKIN launching in London, Mercury laid the foundations focusing on targeted advertising and creative media relations with interior design and property. Beyond this, Mercury supported SKIN by arranging targeted meetings with potential new introducers and clients and delved into their wealth of contacts to introduce them to private members clubs, property developers, household staff, private security companies and relocation agencies.
