Launched by interior designer Lauren Lozano Ziol and Graphic Designer Michelle Jolas in 2017, SKIN offers a classic, yet trademark ‘edgy’ look by pairing hand-selected vintage furniture & inspiring art, with modern interiors styling and materials. To find unique pieces to complement their projects, the founders scout and source globally, frequenting estate sales and auction houses, exploring furniture markets and visiting their favourite shopping districts. Uniquely, their clients have the option to join them on the hunt for perfect objects, giving SKIN’s process the potential to include an education-rich journey, tailored to the client’s needs and end goal.
Prior to SKIN launching in London, Mercury laid the foundations focusing on targeted advertising and creative media relations with interior design and property titles such as House & Garden, Elle Decoration, The Bruno Effect, and Country & Town House – as well as American ex-patriot titles like The American and American in Britain.
Beyond this, Mercury is supporting SKIN by arranging targeted meetings with potential new introducers and clients. Mercury is delving into their wealth of contacts to introduce them to private members clubs, property developers, private security companies and relocation agencies.
